Maintenance Execution Manager 

The Maintenance Execution Manager reports directly to the Site Director and will lead the development, implementation, and execution of the Kemmerer Power Station (KPS) maintenance program. In this role, you will support the development of the KPS maintenance program and lead a team to implement and execute the maintenance program for KPS. The successful candidate will lead & develop top talent and coordinate with other departments, project partners, regulators, & outside organizations with inputs and expertise in the area of Maintenance Execution development. Primary location will be in Kemmerer, Wy but work will be remote until end of 2025.

 

Responsibilities
•    Provide input to and is the approver of the development of maintenance processes, programs, and procedures for a new nuclear power plant, ensuring compliance with company standards, NRC regulations, INPO accreditation criteria, and other codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
•    Lead a team that implements and executes the KPS maintenance program.
•    Use technology to develop new ways to better plan, schedule, and execute the KPS maintenance program.
•    Provide input to help develop, deploy, and integrate the software programs needed to manage the site maintenance program.
•    Leverages experience to ensure the KPS maintenance program meets industry standards.
•    Leads initiatives related to using smart procedures or other software-based support tools to execute and trend plant maintenance activities.
•    Ensures maintenance personnel are properly trained and qualified to perform their duties.
•    Provide leadership through participation in company and industry maintenance initiatives, benchmarking, assessments, observations, and assistance visits.
•    Ensures plant maintenance personnel are provided regular training and mentoring on the processes and standards associated with maintenance activities.
•    Engages with industry peers, 3rd party vendors, NEI, and other organizations to find innovative methods & technologies for maintenance execution.
•    Directly supervise plant maintenance personnel in the execution of their duties to maintain the plant.
•    Participates in NRC, INPO and management audits, and prepares responses to audit findings.
•    Leads a process which develops and maintains the procedure writers’ and program developers knowledge of plant design, plant operations, disciplinary skills and techniques, commensurate with the responsibility to develop effective, high-quality procedures.
•    Ensures the collection and maintenance of auditable records and reports required to maintenance activities.
•    Manages budgeting, staffing, planning, monitoring, and reporting necessary to cost-effectively meet KPS maintenance needs.
•    Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relations with customers, partners, suppliers, co-workers, and management.


Key Qualifications and Skills

•    Associates degree in science/engineering
•    2+ years of leadership experience at a commercial nuclear power plant
•    4 years of commercial nuclear power plant experience in either operations, maintenance, chemistry, or radiological protection.
•    4 years of experience in procedure writing, not necessarily full time
•    Experience leading projects/initiatives which include many competing objectives and organizational constraints, with the ability to resolve conflicts between objectives. 
•    Experience leading diverse groups in the resolution of highly complex problems.
•    Experience recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent.
•    Proven ability in developing new processes, procedures, and/or programs in the pursuit of organizational excellence.
•    Attention to detail and aspiration for organizational excellence
•    The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, able to communicate openly, and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork
•    Adapts well to emergent changes due to changes in plant design, plant procedures, schedule changes, or other challenges associated with the design, construction, and commissioning of a new nuclear power plant.

Salary Range L12:  $137,510 - $190,549

*Typically, our employee salaries are within .90 – 1.0 of the mid-point of the posted salary band.  Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected individual’s qualifications and experience.  This range is specific to Kemmerer, WY.
