Facilities Application Support Technician II 

TerraPower's Real Estate and Facilities team is responsible for the design, implementation, operations, and management of all TerraPower locations. This role will support the operations, deployment, and continuous improvement of Facilities IT technology and infrastructure services, such as A/V Systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Lenel Security and Access Control systems, Microsoft Teams Administration, and application backend management for Visitor Management, Space Reservation, and Asset Tracking systems. This position will report to the Director of Real Estate and Facilities.  

Responsibilities: 

·      Provide technical support for Windows-based Microsoft Teams Room-based Audio/Visual systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring equipment, and ensuring optimal performance. 

·      Liaison and assist with vendor management and product delivery during construction projects. 

·      Backend manage Windows-Based Microsoft Teams Rooms, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of room systems to facilitate seamless virtual meetings and collaboration. 

·      Support Lenel OnGuard Access Control systems, ensuring proper functionality and security protocols are in place. 

·      Ensure the smooth operation of Facilities-owned IT systems and services for TerraPower locations. 

·      Ensure processes and standards are in place to ensure that work and quality meets the required standards of the enterprise. Work inside of established ITSM and IT Change Control procedures. 

·      Maintain and support Visitor Management Systems, ensuring smooth visitor registration processes and security measures. 

Key Qualifications 

·      HS Diploma with preference for College Degree in Information Technology. 

·      3+ years of experience in an IT Support role, supporting a variety of IT systems and at minimum one technology described in the Responsibilities section. 

·      Deep understanding of core business operations practices and processes. 

·      Experience understanding and working with IT Change Control processes and working cross-departmentally to achieve positive outcomes. 

·      Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex IT system interdependencies. 

·      Strong problem-solving skills, experience with project management, and the ability to build strong relationships. 

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. 

·      Ability to build productive working relationships with team members, stakeholders, and external vendors. 

·      Experience with Audio/Visual and Hybrid Meeting technologies (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom) preferred. 

·      Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, LenelS2) are a plus. 

·      The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect with a desire to foster teamwork.

·      Physical exertion and/or requirements: Minimal, with ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds 

·      Repetitive work: Prolonged 

·      Special Senses: Visual and audio focused work 

·      Work Conditions: Stairs, typing/keyboard, standard and/or sitting working environment of >8 hrs/day  

·      Candidate must have car and be able to drive between Bellevue and Everett Facilities.  

·      Out of state travel required 0-5%

Salary Range Level 7: $71,093 - $106,640

Salary Range Level 8: $81,383 - $122,074
*Typically, our employee salaries are within .90 – 1.0 of the mid-point of the posted salary band.  Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected individual’s qualifications and experience.  This range is specific to Washington State.
