Corporate Training Manager
The Corporate Training Manager reports to the Senior Manager Training & Performance Improvement and is responsible for the management and effectiveness of corporate training programs for TerraPower.  This position requires advanced knowledge of NQA-1 and WISHA/L&I requirements for training development and records.
Responsibilities:
•    Manage and administer the overall training program for TerraPower including software, coordination with technical staff and managers, procedures maintenance, curriculum/content development, reports, and measurement of training effectiveness.  
•    Manage daily operations of training staff, ensuring resources are allocated based on project, state, and federal requirements.
•    Ensure training programs are in strict compliance with the Quality, Environmental, and Safety and Health program standards to protect the employees and public from radiological, chemical, and physical hazards associated with facility operations.
•    Ensure training records are maintained in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
•    Periodically (annually at a minimum) evaluate the training program to ensure compliance with requirements.
•    Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relations with customers, partners, suppliers, co-workers, and management.
•    Identify gaps in the existing training program content and material and utilize metrics to find trends and areas for improvement.
•    Proactively research and develop new techniques and methodologies to enhance learning and training programs.
•    Identify future training needs for the organization and communicate with management, trainers, and team members to ensure those needs are met.
•    Other duties as assigned.
•    Key Qualifications and Skills
•    This position requires B.A./B.S. degree in a relevant/related discipline with a minimum of 4 years people management experience in a nuclear environment.  
•    Training management experience preferred to include personnel management, course instruction, training material development, and/or training program assessment/evaluation.
•    Proficient in SAP-SuccessFactors or similar platform.
•    Proficient planning and execution skills for meeting regulatory and operational requirements.
•    Excellent skills in the systematic approach to training and training management.
•    Possess demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor in interacting and collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders.
•    Able to operate and multi-task in a challenging/dynamic environment while demonstrating planning, coordination, and organizational and problem-solving skills.
•    Demonstrated ability to work independently with little oversight or supervision.
•    Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
•    Strong communication, verbal and written skills that are clear, concise, and accurate.
•    Excellent attention to detail in writing and reviewing of documents, such as procedures and training material.
•    Project management expertise in developing and rolling out training plans.
•    Experience under NRC or DOE regulation is strongly preferred.
•    Experience with ISO is preferred.
•    The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, able to communicate openly, and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork.

Salary Range Level 12:  $163,701 - $226,844  
Typically, our employee salaries are within .90 – 1.0 of the mid-point of the posted salary band.  Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected individual’s qualifications and experience.  This range is specific to Washington State.
